THE JEEP CHIEF'S JEEP RULES

THE WRIGHT-PATTERSON CHIEFS' GROUP EXPECTS IT TO BE INTUITIVELY OBVIOUS TO ALL WHO SHALL VIEW THIS DOCUMENT THAT THE BEARER OF SAID DOCUMENT IS THE NEWEST CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT ON BASE.

1. The Jeep Chief selectee will:

   a.  Never, under any circumstance relinquish possession of the Jeep Chief’s Jeep.

   b.  Always care for and properly maintain the Jeep Chief’s Jeep.

   c.  The Jeep may not be connected to the Jeep Chief by any means of a foreign object; i.e. string, rope, glue, handcuffs, etc.

d.      Repair or replace the Jeep Chief’s Jeep if the Jeep Chief’s Jeep is damaged.  Repair or replacement must meet with the approval of the Chief’s Group.

e.  The Jeep Chief must have the Jeep Chief’s Jeep in possession, prominently displayed, and in full view for all to admire; at all times, while in uniform or while attending any official Chiefs' function.

f.  Proudly display the Jeep Chief’s Rules in the Jeep Chief’s office.

g.    The Jeep Chief may, while in the Jeep Chief’s office park the Jeep Chief’s Jeep.  However, the Jeep Chief must physically have the Jeep Chief’s Jeep in possession and prominently displayed as referenced in paragraph 1e above when the Jeep Chief departs the Jeep Chief’s office for whatever reason.

h.    Since all Chiefs’ are proud of the Jeep Chief, we highly expect his/her presence at all Chief gatherings and base functions if the Jeep is on station and present for duty.

2.  Physical confrontation to obtain the Jeep Chief’s Jeep is not in line with the spirit of the Jeep Chief’s Jeep and will not be tolerated.

3. Upon the promotion of the next Chief, the current Jeep Chief is no longer a jeep and will pass on the Chief’s Jeep and this document in an appropriate ceremony as befitting the occasion and in the presence of the Chiefs' Group President or designee and as many Chiefs as possible to the next Chief in line.  If the Jeep Chief is the last in line for that promotion cycle, the Jeep Chief will continue to adhere to these rules until the Jeep Chief can pass on the above mentioned to the next selectee from the next promotion cycle.

IF ANY OF THE ABOVE RITES ARE VIOLATED, AS OBSERVED BY ANOTHER CHIEF, THAT CHIEF WILL INFORM THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHIEFS' GROUP WHO WILL CONVENE AN EMERGENCY MEETING AT ROCKERS LOUNGE AT WHICH TIME, THE OFFENDING JEEP CHIEF WILL HAPPILY OPEN HIS OR HER WALLET AND PURCHASE REFRESHMENTS FOR ALL CHIEFS PRESENT.
